Speeduino Dropbear V2 · Teensy 4.1
The open-source ECU, stocked and shipped from Europe.
Genuine Speeduino Dropbear V2 — fully assembled, 600 MHz Teensy 4.1 core, onboard WiFi & Bluetooth LE. Order from the EU instead of waiting on a transatlantic shipment.
Why the Dropbear V2
A full engine management core, not a bare board.
Teensy 4.1 core
The fastest Speeduino platform to date — 600 MHz ARM Cortex‑M7, a big step up from the older Teensy 3.5 boards. Note: this board only accepts a Teensy 4.1, not a 3.5.
Onboard wireless
WiFi and Bluetooth LE built in, plus USB‑C — wire in a laptop or tune from a tablet without a cable running into the cabin.
Logging & sensing
SD‑card logging, an internal MAP sensor with an option for an external one, and an onboard baro sensor for altitude compensation.
Driver outputs
8 high‑impedance injector drivers, 8 coil pre‑drivers for igniters or smart coils, and 6 medium‑current (2 A) auxiliary outputs.
CAN & VR conditioning
A CAN transceiver and onboard VR conditioner are built in — no separate signal‑conditioning board to wire up.
Ready to assemble
Ships fully assembled with a wiring‑harness connector and pin set included. An optional stepper driver slot takes a standard DRV8825 module.

FAQ
Good to know before you order
Is this official Speeduino hardware?
Yes — the Dropbear V2 is genuine Speeduino open‑source hardware, powered by a Teensy 4.1. Dropbear is an independent seller offering it assembled and stocked in Europe; it isn't the official Speeduino store. You can find the project itself at speeduino.com and the full install manual at wiki.speeduino.com.
Which Teensy does it use?
The Teensy 4.1 only. It is not compatible with the earlier Teensy 3.5 used by the original Dropbear V1.
What's in the box?
A fully assembled Dropbear V2 unit in its enclosure, ready to wire in, plus a wiring‑harness connector and pin set. It does not include the harness wiring itself or sensors beyond what's listed in the spec sheet.
How long until it ships?
Current lead time is around 2–3 weeks, as each batch is built to order. You'll get a shipping notification as soon as your unit is on its way.
What tuning software do I need?
Speeduino is tuned with TunerStudio (free base license), the same tool used across the Speeduino community. The install and setup walkthrough is in the official wiki linked above.
What's your warranty?
Every unit carries a 3‑month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery. If something's wrong with the board itself, get in touch and it'll be repaired or replaced.
Where do you ship?
Within Europe only for now. Outside Europe — including the US — order the Dropbear V2 through the official reseller, WTMtronics.
